[ACCI-CAVIE] As part of a collaboration with African and Western universities, AIMS’ South African campus is hosting an AI training programme. African students can apply for scholarships to follow this one-year programme.

The African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (South Africa) has opened applications for the Artificial intelligence for science (AI for Science) programme, a track of the Masters in Mathematical Sciences. It consists of a one-year residential programme that examines how the use of AI can provide insights into the world around us and accelerate progress on some of today’s most fundamental and fascinating scientific challenges.

The programme is covered by a scholarship scheme run by Google DeepMind that pays for flights to and from South Africa, tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, medical insurance and the costs of conducting AI experiments and research.
