    The ACCI, legalised on August 3, 2015 in Yaounde following a prefectural decision, is a non-governmental non-profit-making organisation governed by Law No. 90/053 of 19 December 1990 concerning the freedom of association.

    The ACCI aims to promote good practices for monitoring and economic intelligence in Africa and their significance in boosting economic competitiveness in the region. The ACCI aims to :

    • Sensitize public authorities, business enterprises and the educational sector on the stakes of economic intelligence;

    • Assist in the creation and development of intelligence systems and business intelligence within public and private institutions;

    • Strengthen the capacity of public and private institutions, as well as individual project managers through publications, consulting, training and conferences;

    • Federate, represent and protect the professional, moral, economic and commercial interest of African stakeholders in monitoring and business intelligence; Provide the public with the assurance that each member of the Association is recognized by his peers as a professional, that they have not been convicted and their commitment to the ethical charter of the profession.
