This Privacy Policy defines the terms and conditions for the collection, processing, retention and protection of personal data of users of the website acci-cavie.org (hereinafter referred to as "the Site"). The African Center for Competitive Intelligence (ACCI) is committed to respecting the privacy of users and protecting their personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

- Contact and identification data: retained for the duration of the relationship with ACCI and up to three (3) years after the last contact;
- Newsletter data: retained until withdrawal of consent or unsubscription;
- Connection data and cookies: retained for a maximum period of thirteen (13) months;
- Data required for legal or regulatory purposes: retained for the period required by applicable law.
Upon expiry of the retention periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

ACCI implements all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks, in order to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access.

The user has the right to receive the personal data concerning them that they have provided to ACCI, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another data controller.
9.7. Right to withdraw consent
Where processing is based on consent, the user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
9.8. How to exercise rights
The user may exercise their rights by sending a request to ACCI:

ACCI undertakes to respond to any request within one (1) month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by two (2) months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. ACCI will inform the user within one month of receipt of the request.

10.1. Definition and use
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience, analyze Site usage and personalize content. A cookie is a small text file stored on the user's device when browsing the Site.
