The African Center for Competitive Intelligence (ACCI) is committed to respecting the privacy of users and protecting their personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

• Connection data and cookies: retained for a maximum period of thirteen (13) months;

Upon expiry of the retention periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

9.3. Right to erasure

The user has the right to receive the personal data concerning them that they have provided to ACCI, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another data controller.

9.7. Right to withdraw consent

Where processing is based on consent, the user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

9.8. How to exercise rights

The user may exercise their rights by sending a request to ACCI:

ACCI undertakes to respond to any request within one (1) month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by two (2) months if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. ACCI will inform the user within one month of receipt of the request.

10.1. Definition and use
