Becoming an accredited expert
- The exam may be taken in English or French, it may also be taken remotely.
- The examination board, chaired by the President of the ACCI, comprises a panel of experts appointed by the ACCI board.
- The official results will be published on 1 January of the following year on the ACCI website and all its affiliated networks.
- The ACCI’s accreditation is valid for a period of three years. Renewal is possible after a thorough review. The board reserves the right to revoke accreditation at any time if the accredited expert fails to adhere to the ethical charter of the organization.
- In the fourth quarter of each year, the ACCI conducts an examination to issue accreditation to candidates.
- The examination is open to candidates from all African nationalities with a minimum of three years of experience in the fields of intelligence, competitive and strategic intelligence, or documentation.
- The due date for submission applications is 1st September each year.
- Each application must include a comprehensive CV and a cover letter.
- The date of the competitive exam will be announced on the ACCI website and all its affiliated networks.
- The certification examination consists of a four-hour written test (dissertation), a two-hour oral test, and an eight-hour practical test.
